Refunds arrive and inspections join the vehicle history

Refunding a customer is now part of the normal flow. Cash, check, transfer, Interac or online card, a refund is recorded as a movement of its own, tied to the payment it reverses. Partial refunds work, and the downloaded invoice carries its full payment history, enough to explain the balance to any customer.

Inspections also break out of their work order. Each one now lands in the vehicle’s history, with the template used and the number of findings.

  • Full or partial refunds, every method, with reason and date.
  • The payment history prints right after the invoice.
  • Inspections show up in each vehicle’s history.
  • The product list gains an overstock filter, alongside low stock.
  • Long invoices now flow across pages without losing lines.
  • Editing a coworker’s tracked time now requires the right role.
  • An official Android version is on its way to the Play Store.

Customizable dashboard and a redesigned appointment module

Your dashboard now looks like you. Pick a template based on your role, then add, remove and rearrange cards. New indicators include average amount per work order, customer retention and most profitable services, each with its trend and a detailed chart.

Appointments get more realistic too. Duration is computed from the allocated time of the selected services. An oil change blocks 30 minutes, a major repair blocks the afternoon.

  • The dashboard builds card by card, including a Low Stock card that leads straight to purchase suggestions.
  • Appointments carry real durations, and online booking respects your shop’s concurrency limit.
  • The calendar shows your deadlines, work orders due, invoices to collect and deliveries expected.
  • The booking widget has been redesigned in your brand’s colors and adapts to every equipment type.
  • On the phone, the workflow, dashboard and customer pages browse by tabs.
  • Invoices lock as soon as they leave draft, and emails go out under your garage’s name.

Allocated time on services and drag-and-drop calendar

You know how long a job should take. Mechmate now shows you whether it does. Set a standard time on each service and compare it against actual tracked time, right in the work order. Green when you’re on target, amber as soon as it runs over. These indicators stay internal, nothing shows on the customer’s invoice.

  • Each service’s allocated time appears as you add a line and sits next to actual time (2h15 / 2h30).
  • Appointments move by drag and drop on the calendar, including by touch on a tablet.
  • A single vehicle can have several work orders in parallel, with a duplicate warning.
  • Search in work orders and invoices now digs through the whole catalog and suggests parts as you type.
  • Equipment types are customizable with their own specifications, for trailers, compressors and generators.
  • New accounts get a five-step onboarding.
